The mechanics:
1. Every week, the contestants will submit a photo of themselves based on the weekly theme. The deadline for the pic to either be posted here in the forum or e-mailed to the contest coordinator (ZephyrInTheS) is Saturday night, 11:59 PM. No pic merits automatic elimination. The e-mail address is g4m.ntm@gmail.com. The theme for the following week will also be announced on Saturday.
2. The judges will critique all submitted photos in the thread. Voting, however, will be done through either private messaging or e-mail. The judges will choose who they want to eliminate for the week, and send their vote to the contest coordinator. They will also choose one Coverboy of the Week. The deadline for voting is Sunday night, 11:59 PM.
We're implementing a 3-strikes-you're-out rule. If you have not voted for any 3 of the rounds, you will be eliminated as a judge.
3. The contest coordinator will announce the Coverboy of the Week as well as who is eliminated in a new thread, latest Monday night 11:59 PM. A new thread will also be created for the new round.
Additional rules/notes:
For contestants -- You can post as many pics as you want in the thread, but you need to choose only 1 pic as your official pic for that week. You can ask the audience to help you decide on which pic you will submit as your official entry if you're having difficulty deciding. Please make sure that you don't put any text on your photo.
For judges -- Minimize criticizing a contestants looks. All we're looking at is the quality of the photo (poses, angles, adherance to the theme, artistic and editorial value, etc.). At the end of the round, please e-mail your comments to the contest coordinator so they can be posted all at the same time for the contestants to see.
CYCLE 1 ROUND 6 THEME: KANTO BOY Vs. GQ
You will submit 2 pics. Show us the difference between how rough you can look and how refined you can look.
Voting this week will be a bit different. Not only will we vote based on the pics you submit, but also on who we feel deserves a spot in the final round.
