This is the official announcement of results for G4M's Next Top Model Cycle 2 Round 1.

Hi contestants! Welcome to the 1st elimination night of G4M's Next Top Model, Cycle 2.
After a hotly contested audition round, Round 1 of Cycle 2 was just as exciting. For the first time in G4M's Next Top Model's history, a model was eliminated for not submitting a photo before the deadline. Subsequently, Apollo... replaced jcboi03 as the 12th model for Cycle 2.
Another hot topic this week was the allegation that one of the contestants was a poser and was submitting fake photos. Harsh words were exchanged in the thread, and for the first time there was a serious argument between a judge and a model.
None of that matters now. What matters is that in my hand I hold 11 pictures, and these pictures represent the 11 men who will be continuing on the journey towards becoming G4M's Next Top Model.
1 of you will be eliminated...

This week your challenge was to submit a photo of yourself that best represented our theme for Round 5: "Back To School". As we had warned, this theme was not as easy as it seemed. The judges were still looking for a high-fashion, edgy photo. To stay in this competition, you needed to make sure you're modelling and not just posing for another memorabilia shot.
The judges were overall not enthusiastic with the results. Some pics were OK, but most just weren't up to par. It seems that most of the models are still trying to find their way in this competition, and most still have to prove themselves. It's sad that 1 model will no longer have that chance.

Though at first you didn't make the Top 12, this week you definitely proved you were a worthy replacement for the model who didn't submit a pic. Still, you can't afford to be complacement. The voting was not unanimous, and if you're not careful you can just as easily be voted off next week.

Though not all of the judges saw the theme for this round in this picture, there's no denying that you were still able to model well. Next week we hope to see a pic that suits the new theme.

The reaction of the judges to your photo was mixed. Some loved it, saying that you did well to show the theme through your pic. Some weren't happy though that you covered part of your face, since they would have wanted you to highlight your best features. Still, it was enough for this week.

Another good photo, although some of the judges would have like to see a bit more edginess. You also need to be careful that the youth you're showing in your photo isn't coming off as immaturity.

An OK pic, but not one that wowed most of the judges. You need to begin stepping up your game. Sometimes when we think we've given it all, we still need to give a little bit more.

Another pic that divided the judges. Some of them liked it, while some of them thought that it wasn't deserving of a Top 12 photo. You need to begin working it.

The judges were expecting more of you, since you were 2nd place in the judges' votes during the auditions. The pic was OK. But still, you need to begin showing us that you're in the competition to win.

The judges weren't impressed at all. The lack of effort clearly showed. If you want to keep staying in this competition, you definitely have to work harder than this.

JETFIGHTER -- You were expressionless in this photo. Your body angle didn't work at all. The judges are wondering whether it was worth putting you in the Top 12.
gOdWiN1 -- You had the most to prove out of the Top 12, since you ranked #15 in the Judges' Vote during the auditions. The judges were hoping you would redeem yourself with a fierce pic for Round 1, but most of them think you failed to rise to the challenge.
I have 2 men before me... 2 talented men who have so much potential. But I will only call 1 name. The model I do not call must immediately return to his house, pack his things, and leave the competition...
